Alex Alvarez Settles Wrongful Death Lawsuit for $ 2.1 Million

A Louisiana man died in Miami-Dade County, Florida when he was trying to change out energized power-lines to a new pole. The man, a 47 year old husband and father of two, was threatened he would be fired unless he completed a job that his company knew he was untrained to do. While operating on a bucket truck high above the ground next to the power lines, an electrical arc severed the hydraulic hose and instantly ignited a fire inside the bucket truck. The man slowly burned to death unable to lower himself to the ground.
