Alex Alvarez PA sues Makers of Vioxx in Federal Court

Our firm is leading the charge in South Florida and has filed numerous lawsuits in Federal Court in the Southern District of Florida against Merck & Co the makers of Vioxx. The suits allege that Merck knew that Vioxx was dangerous to patients, especially those patients with pre-exsisting cardiac conditions. Yet Merck ignored the results of several studies and aggressively marketed Vioxx to physicians and spent approximately 500 million dollars in advertisements.

Our firm is committed to pursue these cases and is working closely with other firms around the country to ensure that patients' rights are protected.
